Compared with the previous loong, this one is more flamboyant and full of dynamism. All the details of the two loongs show obvious differences. My original intention of creation stems from my insight into the vicissitudes of life. When everyone is on the verge of emerging, they will display different postures. Some are reserved and steady, just like deep, still water; some are gathering momentum, like an arrow on the bowstring. But no matter what form it takes, it is a crucial moment when the sword transforms and reveals its sharp edge, shining brightly and attracting attention, with a promising future ahead!

Biografía

Zhao Yongchang (b. 1992, Hunan, China) is a contemporary Chinese sculptor renowned for his innovative fusion of Eastern aesthetics and modern artistic language. Graduating from the China Academy of Art’s Sculpture and Public Art Department in 2016, he has emerged as a leading figure in reinterpreting traditional motifs through bronze sculptures characterized by poetic symbolism and technical mastery.
