Biography

“La imagen, en su simplicidad, no necesita un saber. Es propiedad de una conciencia ingenua.” Gaston Bachelard. María Sánchez (Sevilla, 1997) graduada en Bellas Artes en la Universidad de Santa Isabel de Hungría. Ha completado su formación en el Curso Superior de Pintura de Paisaje, en Priego de Córdoba. Desde la infancia tuvo claro como necesidad inherente la comunicación sin límites sirviéndose de la imagen. Así, desde muy temprana edad ha mostrado su trabajo en exposiciones colectivas en instituciones culturales (Ayto. Priego de Córdoba, Universidad de Sevilla, Museo de la Universidad de Alicante o el Espacio Santa Clara en Morón de la Frontera, Sevilla). En 2018, fue finalista del I Certamen de Pintura Sierra Elvira, en Atarfe (Granada) y en 2019, seleccionada para los XIX Encuentros de Arte de Alicante.
