Biography

Elsiena es una artista visual holandesa que vive en España desde 2017. Se graduó en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Minerva en Groningen, Países Bajos (Grado) en 2012 y desde entonces se unió a varios grupos, dúos y exposiciones individuales en los Países Bajos y en el extranjero. En 2017 decidió mudarse a Málaga en el sur de España. Este cambio de estilo de vida estuvo acompañado de un cambio en su ámbito de trabajo; A partir de esculturas monocromáticas tridimensionales, su trabajo se desarrolló hacia una forma más etérea y lúdica de expresarse, en la que se introdujo el color mediante el uso de la técnica muy tradicional de cianotipia que representa una danza alegre con la luz del sol y el agua.
