Biography

Jougan Vladimir Alexandrovich (1928-2008), who was born in 1928 in Lihovka village, Dnepropetrovsk region, Ukraine. Author participated in WWII 1943-45. In 1946-51 Gugan was studying in the Dnepropetrovsk Art College, in art-studio of M. Panin and N. Pogrebniak. In 1960th, together with several other painters he was a founder of industrial landscape. He participated in Regional Art Exhibitions since 1949. Only between 1953 and 1986 artist participated in 41 Art exhibitions!!! Vladimir Alexandrovich is member of Union of Artists of Soviet Union since 1964. Vladimir Alexandrovich is artist-emirate of Ukraine. His works are placed in several museums: Dnepropetrovsk Fine Arts Museum, Donetsk Art Museum, Kamenetsk-Podolsky Art Museum; and lots of private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
