Biography

Iciar L. Yllera (Madrid, 1996) es graduada en Filosofía por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, habiendo realizado estancias becada en las universidades de Buenos Aires (Argentina) y la Alma Mater Studiorum de Bologna (Italia). Formación pictórica en la Escuela de San Lorenzo de El Escorial, en el taller de Alvaro Sellés y Daniel Merlin. Su primera exposición individual la realizada a los 18 años. A partir de entonces, su obra se expone en galerías y centros culturales de distintas ciudades del país como Madrid, Girona, Barcelona, Figueres, Salamanca o Segovia. Prima en su trabajo el gusto por la colaboración en proyectos artísticos interdisciplinarios: a través de su participación en diversos happenings colectivos; colaborando con pintura en vivo en videoclips de cantautores españoles; interviniendo en el espacio público con la instalación escultórica de las Meninas Madrid Gallery (2018) o como perfomance ilustrada de interpretaciones musicales.
