Biography

A childhood filled with graffiti painting and art museum visits sparked his interest in finding the intersection between 'low art' and 'high art'. Jakob Fisk aim to merge what we associate with graffiti art with fine art and experiment with elements which drew him to that artform in the first place.. Bold colors, the lack of rules, and the idea of altering a dull surface to replace it with meaning. He has kept up with his tag name, Fisk since he was 10. Then in a little town called Bjärred (Sweden), later in San Francisco and now in NYC.
