Biography

Ana Kai se ha formado en el Guildford College of Technology y en Marlborough College, Reino Unido, en la Universidad de Bayreuth, Alemania, y en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Ha participado en diversas exposiciones individuales y colectivas y su obra figura en colecciones privadas en Alemania y España, donde reside actualmente. Su obra refleja la vida desde sus distintas perspectivas. Macrocosmos y microcosmos se dan cita en sus lienzos a través de fragmentos de electrizante colorido que invitan a viajar hacia el interior y el exterior de uno mismo. Influenciada por el cosmos y la vida marina su obra comienza siempre con una tormenta de colores que se va construyendo a través de capas superpuestas con medios mixtos, dando lugar a formas orgánicas enigmáticamente intrincadas. El sorprendente resultado de estas experimentaciones improvisadas es una armonía cromática con una fuerte presencia física que cambia con la perspectiva del espectador y las condiciones de iluminación.
