La artista, que vivió y sigue pasando largas temporadas en Camboya, expresa en sus cuadros memorias de los templos, con vislumbres de colores y recuerdos. Este cuadro está realizado en acrílico y esmaltes de color plata sobre lienzo. Se sugiere no enmarcar puesto que los cantos están pintados de color plata.

Biography

Amaya Valcárcel, pintora, vive y trabaja entre Roma y Madrid. Su inspiración y deseo de pintar empieza desde pequeña, oliendo los óleos del taller de su abuela pintora, Aurora Lezcano, en la calle Sacramento de Madrid, y visitando el estudio de su maestro, Joaquín Vaquero Turcios. Se forma entre la Accademia de Belle Arti, Roma, y el Círculo de Bellas Artes, Madrid. Expone en diversas galerías nacionales e internacionales, y en ferias como Estampa. Sus largas temporadas en Camboya influyen profundamente su pintura. Sus obras forman parte de colecciones como UBS o Museo Nacional de Battambang (Camboya).
