In this Series, the artist pays homage to the profound wisdom of the Inca civilization. A culture deeply rooted in a harmonious connection with nature, venerating the sun and the moon as divine entities. Mastering disciplines like geometry, symmetry, and color; the Incas procured raw materials in balance with Mother Earth. Inspired by the exquisite techniques of Inca metallurgy and textiles, the series seeks to elevate kineticism with a heightened level of craftsmanship. Exploring thinner lines, intensifying chromatic frequencies, and utilizing simple geometric figures under contemporary color palettes, the series brings forth a dynamic interplay of geometric volumes, producing captivating vibrations for an immersive visual experience. Drawing inspiration from ancient symbols like the Tumi (the Sacrifice Knife) and the Chakana (the Andean Cross), the artist humbly submit into designs based on auric proportions that date back more than 5000 years. These symbols precede iconic references such as Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man by centuries. Suggesting an ancient wisdom seamlessly woven into daily life, architecture, metallurgy, textile design, among others. With a refined taste for aesthetics, geometry, and proportions, the Incas serve as a profound wellspring of inspiration. The objective was clear for the pictoric Series, channel the ancient wisdom into kinetic art. The term "Jach’a Qhana" in Aimara language translates into "Shining Big Light," while in Quechua, it signifies "Stairs" or "Bridge." Notably, this symbol represents the Light of the Andes, bridging cultures and epochs. In contrast, Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man, associated with the Renaissance period, illuminated the dark ages. This visual narrative invites viewers to journey back in time, rediscovering the complex balance that once defined the existence of a culture in harmony with nature and timeless wisdom. The artist has been immersed in this subject since 2019. Countries like Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia, USA, UK, Switzerland, and Germany host his works. Unveiling the Inca´s Wisdom. The author.
